Danielle Workman, RMT
Danielle graduated with honours from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2008. She joined the Kura team in October 2018, and will be treating clients on Wednesday afternoons to cover Caeleigh’s leave.
Danielle works to support her clients by providing lasting pain relief, so they can live their fullest lives and be their best possible selves. She approaches each client as an individual, and through clear communication and assessment, develops a unique treatment plan best suited to her client’s needs.
Her approach focuses on deep therapeutic myofascial release and she has extensive experience working with people with physical disabilities. She has a particular interest in pre and post natal massage, and offers a pregnancy table to provide comfort and relief for her clients throughout each trimester.
In addition to her private practice, Danielle teaches at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, supervises a massage clinic at ARCH (HIV/AIDS Resources and Community Health), and offers services as a birth doula. She is an active member of the downtown arts community and volunteers on the Board of Directors for Guelph Spoken Word. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys knitting, gardening, walks along the river, and cooking for family and friends.
