 What to Expect?

Your first appointment will begin with an assessment during which your health history, current medical condition(s), boundaries, and comfort levels will be discussed. Assessment techniques may include a postural assessment, muscle testing, and/or special tests which focus on a specific body part or tissue. A personalized treatment plan will be created based on the findings and treatment will begin during this appointment.

Treatment methods will include Swedish massage techniques and may also include hydrotherapy (heat and cold), fascial release techniques, and/or trigger point work. The treatment is designed to promote the body’s own healing abilities and help return the musculoskeletal system back to a balanced state. Consideration is given to the value of co-operative treatments. Follow up visits can be scheduled as necessary.
