Alexandra Verge, B.Sc., ND

Alex Verge is a licensed naturopathic doctor who has lived in Guelph for almost 20 years. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph, she spent four years at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (www.ccnm.edu) to obtain the title of naturopathic doctor. She has maintained a private practice since 2002, first as the Verge Naturopathic Clinic and then, more recently, as Kura Naturopathic Clinic, a name change that reflects a new location and the addition of new practitioners.
Alex is an eclectic naturopathic practitioner, drawing regularly from the various modalities that define naturopathic medicine. She has a general practice; she sees men, women and children ranging from infants to seniors, from healthy people wanting to stay that way to people who have been struggling with their health issues for years. She is a professional member of both her provincial (www.oand.org) and federal associations (www.cand.ca) and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy. Alex is fluent in English and French.
In an ongoing effort to practice what she preaches, Alex enjoys hiking (www.guelphhiking.com), reading, vegetable gardening, cooking, supporting local farmers (www.cedardownfarm and magdafarm.blogspot.com) and travelling. Achieving balance in health and life is a journey; it can take time and patience, but is always worth the ride.
